Day 1: Narita/Haneda - Tokyo
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver for a shared airport transfer to your hotel. Check in to your hotel, collect your IC cards and train tickets to use later on this itinerary.
Stay at The Gate Hotel Ryogoku by Hulic or similar.
Day 2: Tokyo (B)
After breakfast, you will be met by your guide for a full day private guided tour of Tokyo, using public transports. Start with a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, the historical Shinto shrine in the middle of city, but surrounded amidst beautiful green nature. Continue to Some no Sato Ochiai, a dyeing studio with over 100 years of history. Enjoy lunch on your own (not included), to be decided on the day together with the guide. Following lunch, visit Some Monogatari Museum where you can enjoy a fabric dyeing experience workshop and factory inspection. Return back to hotel afterwards.

Day 3: Tokyo - Kawaguchiko (B, D)
After breakfast, check out and leave your main luggage with hotel, whilst bringing your overnight bag. Make your own way to the bus terminal (not included), and catch the bus (tickets included) to Kawaguchiko station. There are shuttle bus service available to hotel (reservation required in advance). Free day at leisure. You may wish to catch a taxi on your own (not included) to visit Kubota Itchiku Art Museum (not included - does not allow pre-booking). The art museum is famous for the beautiful collections of Kimonos. Other things of interest in the beautiful surroundings would be the local food (Hoto Noodles), The Kawaguchiko Music Forest (small theme park/museum), other art museums, the panoramic ropeway, Chureito Pagoda etc. In the evening head back to hotel and enjoy their hot spring facilities and dinner included.

Day 4: Kawaguchiko - Tokyo (B)
Following breakfast, free day at leisure. Explore places you could not do the day prior and return to Tokyo by bus (included) from afternoon. Make your own way from the bus terminal back to hotel.

Day 5: Tokyo (B)
After breakfast, you will be met by your guide for a full day private guided tour of Tokyo, using public transports. Begin the day with a visit to 21 21 Design Sight, design museum created by the famous architect Tadao Ando and fashion designer Issey Miyake. Continue with a visit to the old town Yanaka, with ambience reminiscent of Tokyo from past decades. Enjoy a local lunch (not included), chosen together with the guide on the spot. Continue to Nippori Fabric Town, where you can be inspired and do enjoy shopping of endless textiles, fabrics, leathers, buttons etc. Return back to hotel afterwards.

Day 6: Tokyo - Narita/Haneda (B)
Following breakfast and check out, free time until you will be picked up by your driver at the hotel lobby for a shared transfer to the airport. Thank you so much for visiting Japan.
