Day 1: Narita/Haneda - Tokyo
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver for a private airport transfer to your accomodation. You will receive your IC Card to use and explore around where other train tickets are not included.

Day 2: Tokyo (B)
After breakfast, you will be met by your guide to begin your private full day tour of Tokyo using public transports. Visit a sumo stable and watch sumo training, before heading to Tsukiji, also known as Tokyo's kitchen. Have lunch on your own (not included). Continue to the beautiful Hamarikyu garden, followed by a visit to Asakusa, where you can see Sensoji Temple, Kaminarimon gate and enjoy the Nakamichi shopping street. Return to hotel afterwards.

Day 3: Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo (B)
Following breakfast, you will be met by your guide and and begin your full day tour to Nikko using public transports. See the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nikko Toshogu Shrine, before having some free time for lunch (not included). Continue to see the majestic Kegon Falls, also known as one of the top three waterfalls of Japan and conclude with the serene Chuzenji Lake, which is located at the foot of a volcano. Use public transports to return back to Tokyo in the evening.

Day 4: Tokyo (B)
After breakfast, free day at leisure to rest up and explore on your own.

Day 5: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji & Hakone (B, D)
Pack an overnight bag and leave your main suitcase with the hotel reception early morning for them to be transferred to your hotel in Nagoya. After breakfast, you will be met by your guide and begin the day travelling to the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji by a private vehicle, enjoying the spectacular views 2,300m above sea level. Have a lunch break (lunch not included) before heading to Hakone Ropeway where you will enjoy panoramic views. Conclude with a cruise on the breathtaking Lake Ashi. After the tour you will be dropped off at your accommodation, where you will have dinner included and can make use of their hot spring facilities.

Day 6: Hakone - Nagoya (B)
After breakfast and check out, get on the complimentary hotel shuttle bus to Odawara station (already reserved 10:45am) to catch the bullet train to your accommodation in Nagoya. Free day at leisure.

Day 7: Nagoya - Nakasendo - Nagoya (B)
After breakfast, make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes. You will meet at Nagoya station and join a small group tour visiting the post towns, Magome and Tsumago. Enjoy this historical full day walking tour - Nakasendo Trail.

Day 8: Nagoya - Takayama & Shirakawago - Kanazawa (B)
Pack an overnight bag and leave your main suitcase with the hotel reception early morning for them to be transferred to your hotel in Kyoto (next day delivery). After breakfast and check out, travel by public transports to visit Takayama, a beautifully preserved old town. You will have free time to enjoy lunch on your own. The other half of the day, you will travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Shirakawago. See the famous traditional Gassho Zukuri farmhouses, The tour ends in Shirakawago and the guide will take you to the bus stop, for you to continue on own to your hotel in Kanazawa by express bus (tickets included).

Day 9: Kanazawa - Kyoto (B)
After breakfast and check out, leave any luggage you have with the hotel, to pick up before departing for Kyoto later. Meet up with your guide and start your full day tour of Kanazawa using public transports. Start with a visit to Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art (admission included, but not the exhibition inside). Continue to Nagamachi Samurai District before heading to Omicho Market where you have free time to buy your own lunch. Continue to Kanazawa Castle and Gyokuseninmaru Garden before heading to the top three garden of Japan, Kenrokuen. Conclude with visits to Kazuemachi Chay District and Higashi Chaya District before returning to Kanazawa station. Pick up any luggage you have and catch the bullet train (Gran Class - but no refreshments included due to short distance) to Tsuruga, and change to local train (unreserved) to Kyoto. Short walk to hotel located next to station.

Day 10: Kyoto (B)
After breakfast, you will be met by your guide for a private tour of Kyoto by public transports. Visit Arashiyama, home of the beautiful Sagano Bamboo Grove, experience a rickshaw ride. Dress up in beauitful Kimono and enjoy an authentic tea ceremony with Geisha/Maiko (shared facilities - with others). End the trip enjoying panoramic views at the World Heritage Site, Kiyomizu-dera temple and strolling Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka slopes. The guide will take you back to hotel afterwards.

Day 11: Kyoto (B)
After breakfast, free day at leisure to rest up and explore on your own.

Day 12: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto (B, L)
After breakfast, catch the train on your own to your meeting point in Nara station. Meet your guide and begin your half day private walking tour by public transports. Start with a train trip to Miwa, pass through the Great Torii gate, followed by Oomiwa Shrine, said to be he oldest shrine in Japan where the deity is Mt. Miwa itself. Explore the different sites around the large shrine ground. Have lunch, enjoying Nagashi somen, which is a fun Japanese eating style where you catch the sliding noodles with your chopsticks. You will return to Nara station afterwards where the tour disbands. Free time from afternoon. You can choose to stay back to explore more classical Nara sites, such a Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Nara Park, where you can see free roaming deers. Return to Kyoto on your own when ready.

Day 13: Kyoto - Hiroshima & Miyajima - Hiroshima (B)
After breakfast, depart by trains to Nikko. Get on the bus to Kanmangafuchi Abyss, a small gorge formed by an eruption of Mt. Nantai. There is a row of approximately 70 stone statues of Jizo along the river. Enjoy a Japanese style lunch before heading on to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The shrine is a sacred place with over 400 years of history. Return back to Shinjuku by bus and trains.

Day 14: Hiroshima - Osaka (B, D)
After breakfast and check out, free day at leisure until afternoon. It is recommended to check out Hiroshima Castle and Shukkeien Garden on your own before departing to Osaka by trains. Late afternoon, you will be met by your guide, who will take you to see Osaka Castle, followed by food tasting, dinner and drinks at Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Enjoy the local specialties. The guide will then take you back to the hotel.

Day 15: Osaka - Itami/Kansai (B)
